You can use it to embed the <a href=\"http:\/\/xkcd.com\">XKCD<\/a> webcomic into your posts and pages.<\/p>\n <p>It takes a <code>num<\/code> attribute that specifies the number of the XKCD comic to embed. For Eg:- To embed the 100th comic use,<\/p>\n <pre><code>    [xkcd num='100'] <\/code><\/pre>\n <p>When the <code>num<\/code> attribute is omitted the latest XKCD comic is shown instead.<\/p>\n <pre><code>    [xkcd] <\/code><\/pre>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the <code>xkcd-shortcode<\/code> directory to the <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n<li>Use <code>[xkcd]<\/code> shortcodes in your posts or pages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<h4>Does it download the xkcd images?<\/h4>\n <p>No. The images are hotlinked to the <a href=\"http:\/\/xkcd.com\">XKCD website<\/a><\/p>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>0.8.0<\/h4>\n <ul>\n<li>Adds caching.
