It handles three booking models with a single engine, so you can use it whether you take appointments, rent things by the day or host multi-night stays. **Hourly appointments.** For hair salons, clinics, physiotherapy, consultants or workshops. You set how long a service takes and the plugin works out the free slots for each day. **Full days.** For meeting rooms, equipment, courts or rental gear. The resource is taken for the whole day. **Date ranges.** For holiday flats, rural houses or campsites. The checkout day frees up the night, as it should. #### Everything stays in your WordPress The plugin never talks to an external service. It loads no fonts, scripts or stylesheets from other servers, sends no data anywhere and charges no commission per booking. Go to Plugins, then Add New, search for Omnia Booking Engine and install it. You can also upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`. 2. Activate it from the Plugins menu. 3. Follow the four-step wizard that appears after activation: create your first resource, set your opening hours, review the emails and publish. 4. Place the form on a page with the `[omniabook]` shortcode or the Booking form block. If you prefer each resource to have its own page, the plugin already builds it with the calendar included. Nothing else needs configuring. ## FAQ ### Is it right for my business? It is built for businesses that book time or space: hair salons, clinics, consultants, workshops, meeting rooms, sports courts, equipment rental, holiday flats and rural houses. All of those work with the base setup. ### Can I take payments? Not in this version. It records the booking and you charge the way you do today, on arrival or by bank transfer. Card payments are an extension of the Pro version. ### How many resources and bookings can I have? As many as you want. There is no limit on resources, bookings or time. ### Does it send data to any external server? No. The plugin does not contact any outside service and loads no remote assets: no fonts, no scripts, no stylesheets. Everything happens on your installation. ### Does it work with my theme? Yes. The form inherits your theme’s typography and adapts to the available width. If your theme does something unexpected, you can override the templates by copying them into an `omniabook` folder inside the theme. ### What happens when the clocks change? Nothing. Bookings are stored in universal time and converted to the site’s time zone when shown, so an appointment does not move in March or October. ### Can customers cancel their own booking? Yes. The email they receive includes a cancellation link with a key unique to that booking. No account or password needed. ### Does it help with GDPR? The form asks for consent and records it. The plugin also hooks into the WordPress personal data export and erasure tools, so a customer request includes their bookings too. ### Can it be used in several languages? It comes in English and Spanish, ready to use. The Spanish translation is complete and ships with the plugin, so nothing has to be downloaded. For any other language, the translation template is in the languages folder, and it can also be translated from the WordPress.org translation site. ### Can I move to the Pro version without losing anything? Yes. Pro installs on top and keeps your bookings, resources and settings.
